Wiecher has been immersed in music from an early age.
First classically on the soprano and alto recorder. Later more towards pop on the acoustic guitar. He was first introduced to jazz music during his student years. He then played keyboards for many years in a more symphonic group in which his music was played. The double bass has been his instrument since the 1990s. He played and plays in a multitude of combinations and a multitude of styles, ranging from accompaniment to a singer-songwriter, in a jazz trio to a big band and so much more. He has also been playing with Paul Freeman for almost 15 years, to his great pleasure.
